I miss every part of Fun Taiwan and I have been watching it again and again.

FINALLY... the New Season of Fun Taiwan will be airs in Malaysia in this month. I am pretty sure that my bubbly TV host Janet Hsieh will definitely bring us lots of fun in Fun Taiwan season nine by showing off many attractions of her homeland. :P

In the 13-part series, Janet Hsieh plays host-travel guide to 13 expatriates who are keen to check out various fun activities in Taiwan.

The expats were selected through audition.

"Many foreigners in Taiwan stay only in Taipei but there are so many beautiful and interesting places in the country, many not even known among the locals."

"That’s why we decided to offer something different to our viewers, personalise the tour according to the needs of our expat friends," says Janet at the premier of the new season of Fun Taiwan recently.

"It was not only fun but also educational as we discover places that are off the beaten track, such as taking a Scottish chef, Gary, on a culinary tour of central Taiwan and eating things most people would not even touch with a 10-foot pole."

She also visits a temple that is famed for improving a person’s fortune.

"People who want a change in their fortunes ask the head of Donglong Temple to hit them really hard," says Janet.

In one episode, Hsieh and Japanese friend Koji Fukuhara travel to the hot spring spots in northern Taiwan.

They also visit Yang Ming Shan National Park which offers a host of volcanically-created fumaroles, sulphur crystals and hot springs.
