The pilot of an Emirates A340 plane that came close to crashing at Melbourne Airport with 225 passengers on board had barely slept on the day before as reported. This causes the tail section of the aircraft is damaged.

Anyway, the two pilots involved in the accident on 20th March 2009 were forced to resign 48 hours after they were flown back to Dubai.
